A little history

The UK based BMX bike shop in Devon, 'Green Machine' was the brain child of Devon based Dave 'bmx' Drew back in early 90's, Dave is famous not only for the gatherings at the shop on Thursday nights but for also his work behind the BMX race scene (thanks Dave)

Since November 2008 the GreenMachine has been run by us, Matt Marchant and Brian Shell. We grew up in the 80's riding and racing BMX bikes and we have amased 54 years worth of specialised riding experience between us (see our front room!). The shop is BMX bike specific, though we do sell scooters and associated clothing inc FOX and DC. its our goal to provide proper advice, help and to support the riding scene.

Payment Details

We accept all major credit and debit cards Inc: Visa, MasterCard, Switch, Maestro, Solo, Visa Electron and American Express. We do not accept cash on delivery but can accept cash in our retail store.

Pricing

All prices are inclusive of VAT at 17.5% where applicable. Prices are subject to change without notice.

Out of stock orders

If the item you ordered is out of stock you will be notified by e-mail or phone within 48 hours. We will also let you know when the item should be coming into stock and give you details of other similar products that are in stock at present. Due to the specialist nature of BMX and with the number of colours/options available, we will sometimes run out of stock. We will always inform you when this is the case.

Data collected by this site is used to: 

  • Take and fulfil user enquiries and orders securely
  • Administer and enhance the site and our service
  • Disclose information to third-parties only for goods delivery purposes (our courier needs to know your address to deliver)

All in stock orders placed before 10am are despatched from us that day; delivery charges are calculated online and are added to your order in your basket.
Please note that all orders over £100 qualify for free delivery (UK Mainland only) and all orders under £100 cost from £2.00-10.00 depending on weight and size. However, you will never pay more than £10.00.
 Please allow up to 5 days for custom wheel builds and custom bikes  although we will give you a delivery date when you order.  We can deliver to a work or family members address if it is more convenient for you; just enter a delivery address when you checkout. However, the billing address must match the address where your card is registered. If you choose this option please enter a landline telephone number for the billing address.
We use two types of delivery service:

1st class Royal Mail: for small items. This usually takes 1-2 days and is delivered by your postman.  

TNT Courier: Overnight delivery service on all larger/heavier items. Items are delivered on the next working day (Mon-Fri). This can be anytime between 8.30am and 4.00pm and it requires a signature so please try to be in. If you are out then they will try a neighbour or failing that, leave a card for you to contact them to arrange a day when you will be at home. Saturday and timed deliveries are available at an additional cost; please call for a quote.
 
GREENMACHINE BMX Returns Policy

All non-faulty products that are returned or exchanged must be sent to us (unopened and in their original packaging) at the customers expense within 14 days of purchase - please call 01626 335799 or e-mail us for a returns reference before sending.
